Bookings
Bookings must be confirmed through written communication. A deposit or full payment may be required. A booking is considered confirmed only when payment is received. We may decline a booking if the request falls outside our service scope or schedule.

Menu Customization and Dietary Requirements
We do our best to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions. Clients must share all allergies and dietary needs in advance. While we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee an allergen free environment.

Cancellations and Refunds
Our cancellation policy follows a moderate structure.

  • If you cancel more than 7 days before the service, you receive a 50 percent refund.

  • If you cancel within 72 hours of the service, no refund is provided.

  • If Food Raconteur cancels due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

  • Rescheduling depends on availability.

Payments
All payments must be completed before the service begins. Pricing may vary based on menu, scale, travel, staffing, ingredients and event requirements. Additional charges may apply for extra requests made after confirmation.

Travel and Logistics
Events that require travel may include charges for transportation, ingredients, equipment, accommodation or additional logistics. These will be shared during the consultation process. Travel fees vary based on distance, time and event requirements.

Service Limitations
Food Raconteur reserves the right to decline services that compromise safety, food quality or feasibility. This includes requests that do not meet technical standards, environmental conditions or timing constraints required for proper execution.

Photography and Media Rights
We may document events for portfolio or educational purposes. Photos that include clients, guests or identifiable personal spaces will only be used with permission. Clients may also request no photography during the event.

Third Party Vendors
Some events may involve external vendors such as event planners, venues or equipment providers. These vendors operate independently. Food Raconteur is not responsible for issues arising from third party services, delays or damages.

Health and Safety
Food Raconteur follows standard food safety practices based on local regulations. Clients must ensure the cooking space or venue is clean, safe and functional. We are not responsible for issues arising from unsafe environments or client provided equipment.

Event Responsibilities
Clients must provide a safe and suitable environment for cooking and service. This includes access to utilities, clean workspace and required equipment unless otherwise agreed. Any damages to equipment or property during an event must be reported immediately.

Liability
Food Raconteur is not liable for injuries, accidents or property damage that occur during private dining events, workshops or catering unless caused by our direct negligence. Guests participate in cooking activities at their own risk.

Product Purchases
Gourmet products and takeaways are prepared in small batches. Storage instructions must be followed. Products cannot be returned once delivered unless damaged in transit.

Intellectual Property
All menus, recipes, workshop content and materials remain the intellectual property of Food Raconteur. Clients may not reproduce them for commercial use.

Privacy
